enXco Services Corporation, a subsidiary of enXco, Inc., announced today that it has recently signed contracts with Mid American Energy Corporation to provide operations and maintenance services for MidAmerican's 310.5-megawatt wind project.
North Palm Springs, CA—April 11, 2005—The project consists of 207 GE Wind Energy 1.5-megawatt wind turbines totaling 310.5 MW, with provisions to add another 50 megawatts between the two project sites. The project includes the Intrepid Wind Project site located in Buena Vista and Sac counties in northwest Iowa and the Century Wind Project site located in Hamilton and Wright counties in north central Iowa. enXco Service currently has operations and maintenance contracts for more than 4,300 turbines with a combine's capacity of over 1,000 megawatts including 272 of the GE Wind Energy's 1.5 -megawatt turbines and is the nation's leading supplier of third party operations and maintenance services to the wind industry.
