Escondido, CA—November 2, 2005—"This agreement is a continuation of the long relationship that enXco has had with GE Wind over a number of years", said Tristan Grimbert, President & Chief Operating Officer. "It will cover a large part of enXco need for turbines in 2006 and 2007. As in the past, we will continue to work with other turbine manufacturers on a project by project basis; but this agreement will allow us to secure procurement for our projects in the pipeline that we intend to develop and own or develop and sell before the end of the current PTC window."
enXco develops, constructs, operates and manages wind energy projects throughout the United States. Since 1987, enXco has grown to be the 4th largest owner of wind-energy installations in the United States (298 MW) and one of the largest O&M providers for wind farms, currently servicing more than 4000 turbines and more than 1000 MW. Since 2002 enXco has been an affiliate of EdF Energies Nouvelles. To learn more about enXco, go to www.enXco.com.
