Escondido , CA.—April 11, 2007—enXco Inc. (an EDF EN Company) has reached a new milestone in securing its turbine needs for 2008 with the purchase of an additional 75 2 MW wind turbines from Repower Systems AG. 19 turbines (38 MW) were the confirmation of an option enXco contracted for in 2006 and 56 turbines (112 MW) were secured through a new order. Both orders have delivery in 2008, and are expected to be allocated to a project in California.
"Turbine availability during the period of the PTC extension is critical to enXco's current and future success, and we are pleased that enXco can continue to move forward with its ambitious development plan thanks to our ability to secure turbines.
