enXco Signs Power Purchase Agreement for 100 MW Shiloh IV Wind Project

San Diego, CA,  August 18, 2011 - enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company (PARIS: EEN) today announced it has entered into a  Power Purchase Agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (NYSE: PCG) for a 100 megawatt wind facility to be built in Solano County, California.

Shiloh IV Wind Project represents a repowering effort to upgrade older technology allowing for increased generation of clean energy with fewer wind turbines.  Project development includes the removal of approximately 235 existing Kenetech 100kW turbines.  The original project was installed in 1989, with an installed capacity of 25 MW.

enXco will develop, build, and own the Shiloh IV Wind Project while PG&E will purchase the power generated under a 25-year power purchase agreement.  The project anticipates commercial operations by the end of 2012, and will be operated and maintained by enXco Service Corporation.

"Repowering older projects is increasingly an important part of our project development portfolio as legacy projects of California built in the 1980s reach the end of their efficient life," said Mark Tholke, vice president for enXco's southwest region. "enXco Service Corp's wind technicians have done an outstanding job of keeping these machines operating in optimal condition.  We are pleased to be able to implement today's state-of-the-art turbine technology to achieve more than four-times greater capacity and nearly ten-times more energy with minimal addition in land resources.  It's an ideal situation for the landowner and the utility."

"Wind power is a key piece of our commitment to providing our customers with more clean, renewable electricity," said Fong Wan, senior vice president for energy procurement for PG&E. "Today's agreement is another step forward in reaching our long-term goals of developing, generating and purchasing more green energy to serve our customers."

"With Shiloh IV, enXco will have developed five wind projects in the Montezuma Hills Wind Resource Area for a total of 511.5 MW in Solano County.    This project also demonstrates our long-term successful business relationship with PG&E and builds on our latest partnership - Shiloh III (102.5 MW), which is currently under construction with an anticipated date of completion in late December 2011. We are pleased to once again support PG&E's resource procurement strategy to meet future power needs with clean energy solutions," said Tristan Grimbert, president & CEO of enXco.

The Shiloh IV Wind Project, subject to the approval of the CPUC, is expected to generate clean electricity for approximately 40,000 average homes.
