Escondido, CA.—December 17, 2007—enXco Inc. (an EDF EN Company) solidifies its place as an industry leader in wind energy development with the signed agreement to purchase 200 turbines representing 300 MW from GE Wind. The turbines, which have a unit capacity of 1.5 MW will be used to support the wind farm expansion in the Midwest. The turbines are scheduled for delivery in 2009 validating enXco's strong foundation and growth in wind energy development.
"We recently completed development and construction on the 205.5 MW Fenton Wind Farm in Minnesota with GE turbines and further have 198 MW under construction in Pomeroy, Iowa. In addition, we have planned projects for 2008 utilizing GE turbines." stated Tristan Grimbert, President and Chief Operating Officer for enXco.
