Raphael Declercq dirige la division opérationnelle Solutions décentralisées d’EDF Renouvelables Amérique du Nord, supervise les activités de vente d’actifs structurés et collabore avec le président-directeur général pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre la stratégie d’EDF Renouvelables.

M. Declercq est responsable des équipes et des entités juridiques qui exercent des activités liées à la distribution. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions stratégiques, il se concentre sur la recherche et l’analyse des possibilités de croissance et des risques liés aux activités d’EDF Renouvelables en Amérique du Nord. Il est également responsable de la stratégie de portefeuille d’EDF Renouvelables en effectuant des cessions ainsi qu’en supervisant la commercialisation des actifs et l’exécution effective des transactions.

Avant son entrée au siège nord-américain en 2011, il a travaillé pour EDF Renouvelables à Paris en tant que conseiller adjoint du service administratif. Plus tôt dans sa carrière, M. Declercq a travaillé comme consultant en stratégie chez McKinsey & Company, où il s’est principalement concentré sur les secteurs de l’énergie et de l’industrie lourde. Il est titulaire d’une maîtrise en administration de l’École des hautes études commerciales de Paris et du CEMS (Community of European Management Schools).

ML Geffert

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

ML Geffert serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of groSolar. ML has over 20 years of legal experience, with an emphasis on transactional representation, project financing, and construction and real estate contracting. Prior to joining groSolar, Ms. Geffert served as Group Counsel for Mueller Water Products, as Senior Counsel for Apogent Technologies, as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Santa Fe, NM, and as General Counsel for the City University Construction Fund. Ms. Geffert is a member of the New Hampshire and New York Bar Associations. Ms. Geffert earned a BA with high honors from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa; and a JD from NYU School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Review of Law and Social Change.

Jamie oversees the Distributed Solutions business line which is focused on the delivery of distributed scale solar, storage, and energy management projects. Prior to joining EDF Renewables, he was the CEO of groSolar, a company acquired by EDF Renewables in 2016. He has led the division’s growth as a leading solar developer, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm installing more than 350 megawatts of award-winning projects.

Jamie oversees the Distributed Solutions business line which is focused on the delivery of distributed scale solar, storage, and energy management projects. Prior to joining EDF Renewables, he was the CEO of groSolar, a company acquired by EDF Renewables in 2016. He has led the division’s growth as a leading solar developer, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm installing more than 350 megawatts of award-winning projects.

Jamie gained 20 years of experience across many corporate and board roles in large organizations, start-up companies, and non-profit organizations. His early career included a range of opportunities from working on the Thai/Cambodian border for the International Rescue Committee to banking and management consulting with Fortune 1000 clients. Later, Jamie developed and directed the pioneering conservation finance program for the World Wildlife Fund, the world’s largest environmental organization. In this capacity, he raised more than $150 million for environmental conservation projects through debt-for-nature swaps and other cross-border financing transactions in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Jamie also assisted in the establishment of the Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation and served on its advisory board for ten years.

Jamie received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Rod Viens

EVP Solar+Storage

Rod Viens currently leads the Distributed Solutions Solar + Storage team which develops, designs, installs, and manages solar, storage, and energy management systems across North America. Rod joined groSolar (acquired by EDF Renewables in 2016) in 2008 prior to the division’s sale of its residential business, during that time, Rod oversaw the direct residential and small commercial installation operations. His development and project management experience has included multi-residential commercial buildings, schools, and utility projects ranging in size from 100 kW to 10 MW. Prior to joining EDF Renewables, Rod was Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Yankee Barn Homes, a nationally-distributed post and beam home manufacturer, where he established and oversaw the installation construction division and was charged with improving overall company processes.
