Local Clean Power in

Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Community Solar

March 24, 2021 marks the day that Lawmakers in Pennsylvania introduced legislation allowing community solar projects within the state. Community solar programs will inject billions of dollars in economic investment, generate local tax revenue and jobs and create an income stream for farmers. There has never been a more important time to seize upon the benefits of community solar for Pennsylvania than right now.

Two or more entities can now subscribe for electricity that is generated by a 5 MW or less solar photovoltaic system thanks to Senate Bill 472.
