Larry Barr serves as Senior Vice President, Operations & Maintenance for EDF Renewables Asset Optimization group. The group manages 10 gigawatts of renewable energy installations across North and South America, which includes over 5,230 turbines and 1,970 inverters.

Larry Barr serves as Senior Vice President, Operations & Maintenance for EDF Renewables Asset Optimization group. The group manages 10 gigawatts of renewable energy installations across North and South America, which includes over 5,230 turbines and 1,970 inverters.

Larry brings more than 30 years of wind power plant Operation & Maintenance experience to the project team which is essential in turbine selection considerations and overall facility operations and maintenance planning, from both the technical and financial perspectives.

Larry has a degree in Business Administration as well as California State Contractor’s License certifications for both General Engineering and General Construction.

Dalen Copeland

Vice President, Business Development, Asset Optimization

Dalen Copeland leads the business development group for EDF Renewables Asset Optimization throughout the Americas. Dalen’s career at EDF began as legal counsel in 2006. In 2010, she joined the company’s Rotation Training Program where she conducted and completed rotations in Asset Management, Program Management and Operations and Maintenance before accepting a permanent position as the Director of Business Development in 2012. In 2015, she was promoted to Vice President where she leads sales, marketing, and customer account management efforts. Additionally, she oversees the business analytics, administration, and strategic growth for the Asset Optimization group throughout the Americas.

Dalen Copeland leads the business development group for EDF Renewables Asset Optimization throughout the Americas. Dalen’s career at EDF began as legal counsel in 2006. Prior to EDF Renewables, Dalen worked in corporate and securities law for several international law firms including Paul Hastings, LLP and Foley & Lardner, LLP. She obtained an BA degree from Bryn Mawr College, an MS degree in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University.

Marty Crotty

Executive Vice President, Asset Optimization

An energy industry veteran, Marty has held positions in leadership as Chief Operating Office, President and CEO. He has spent the last four years in the Asia region, including India, Vietnam, Philippines and Sri Lanka responsible for growing a portfolio of assets, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.

He has spent the last four years in the Asia region, including India, Vietnam, Philippines and Sri Lanka responsible for growing a portfolio of assets, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.

Marty holds a Masters degree in Engineering Management, Major in Environment and Energy from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management, from New School for Social Research.

In his leisure time, Marty enjoys surfing, playing guitar, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife and family, including seven grandchildren.

Tad Miller

Vice President, Field Operations, Asset Optimization

Tad Miller is Vice President, Field Operations, at EDF Renewables and is responsible for all Asset Optimization activities throughout North America. Tad’s current responsibilities include the implementation and supervision of internal controls, oversight of the management, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of wind turbines and wind turbine components at EDF Renewables owned wind project sites as well as third-party sites. In addition, he oversees the management of the Operations Control Center.

Tad Miller is Vice President, Field Operations, at EDF Renewables and is responsible for all Asset Optimization activities throughout North America. Tad’s current responsibilities include the implementation and supervision of internal controls, oversight of the management, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of wind turbines and wind turbine components at EDF Renewables owned wind project sites as well as third-party sites. In addition, he oversees the management of the Operations Control Center.

Tad joined EDF Renewables in May 1988, in Palm Springs, CA, as a technician and became the first corporate safety manager, writing the first safety manuals to be used throughout the company. Relocating to the Midwest in the mid-90’s, Tad became the first Midwest representative for Operations & Maintenance. Tad has been instrumental in the growth and development of EDF Renewables Asset Optimization throughout the Midwestern states. Most recently Tad held the position of Director, Operations and Maintenance – U.S.

Tad has been recognized as a leader in O&M throughout his career. In 2006 he was presented with the Outstanding Achievement in Operations Award from the American Wind Energy Association.

D.L. Rouse

Vice President, Operations Support Services, Asset Optimization

D. L. Rouse joined EDF Renewables in 2010 as a Senior Project Manager in the company’s Development division. From 2012-2015 he served as Director, Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance. In 2015 D. L. became the VP of Operations Support Services. In this role he oversees the full suite of operational support functions including: Supply Chain, Quality Control, Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance, and Training.

D. L. Rouse joined EDF Renewables in 2010 as a Senior Project Manager in the company’s Development division. From 2012-2015 he served as Director, Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance. In 2015 D. L. became the VP of Operations Support Services. In this role he oversees the full suite of operational support functions including: Supply Chain, Quality Control, Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance, and Training.

D. L. has over 22 years of international Energy Industry experience. Prior to EDF, he held variety of positions at ExxonMobil and Chevron, working throughout Asia, Australia, Central and South America, Canada, and the United States.

D. L. holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University and an MBA in Leadership from John F. Kennedy University.

Dan Summa serves as the Vice President, Generation where he is responsible for managing EDF Renewables wind, solar, and storage assets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Dan Summa serves as the Vice President, Generation where he is responsible for managing EDF Renewables wind, solar, and storage assets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

In his role, Dan manages EDF Renewables approximately 5,800 MW in wind, solar, and storage projects as well as EDF Renewables relationships with its debt and equity partners. Prior to joining the company in 2011, he worked for Invenergy, LLC as an asset manager and served eight years in the navy as a surface warfare officer (nuclear).

Dan is a Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves and was recalled to active duty in 2012 for 10 months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
