SAN DIEGO (May 8, 2025): EDF Renewables North America and EDF International Division Americas have merged as part of an initiative to strategically leverage the EDF Group’s highly specialized expertise and to offer an integrated approach to the decarbonization of electricity systems and markets. The name for the new combined entity is EDF power solutions North America.
The global ambition of EDF power solutions is to pool the expertise of both organizations and capitalize on technical, commercial, financial, and other synergies. EDF power solutions’ capabilities cover a large spectrum of technologies, from renewables, hydropower, and storage, to transmission, bioenergy, carbon sequestration, microgrids, and more.
Together with 10,000 colleagues across 25 countries, EDF power solutions is powering the future of low-carbon energy systems, ensuring cleaner, resilient, and more efficient energy solutions for our customers in their decarbonization trajectory.
