Located in Keasbey, New Jersey, the Bayshore Recycling Solar Project installation is one of the largest solar panel systems in the recycling industry. It provides sustainable, non-polluting energy to Bayshore’s Eco-Complex and Energy Campus through a total of 9,318 solar panels. EDF Renewables developed, constructed, and operated the system until the sale of the full project to Sunlight General Capital in 2013.
The Bayshore installation further demonstrates a commitment to New Jersey’s Energy Master Plan goals, which call for 22.5% of the state’s electricity to come from renewable sources by 2020.
