Statement Regarding COVID-19

EDF Renewables is closely monitoring the development of COVID-19 as the condition continue to evolve. Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities where we do business. We have enforced hygiene practices for prevention and protection as recommended by the CDC for those who are essential to project operations.   We do not anticipate disruption to the generation of electricity.

  • We have deployed specific Site Level, Operations Control Center (OCC) and Corporate Level Business Continuity Plans to mitigate impacts. These plans are continuously updated as conditions change and evolve.
  • Our Supply Chain department is coordinating daily with parts manufacturers and OEMs to identify potential disruptions and address any shortfalls quickly.
  • Our Accounting team has implemented plans to ensure that accounts payable and accounts receivable functions continue without interruption.

We remain responsive to all our stakeholders’ concerns and respectful of procedures they have implemented.  We are managing disruptions to onsite construction as it arises, and we are continually monitoring the situation to stay aware and flexible as things progress.

Company Policies During COVID-19

EDF Renewables remains in business and has implemented multiple mitigation measures, with plans to increase measures should the situation worsen.  All employees not involved in essential activities are working from home. Site operations are moving to split shifts to minimize contact between technicians.  All in-person meetings are being converted to virtual meetings and attendance at business-related conferences is prohibited until further notice.  We have implemented the CDC recommendations for cleaning/sanitization in our offices and at our operations and construction sites and the CDC prevention and protection practices are being enforced with our employees and contract/temporary employees.

Remember to do your part in following these guidelines to protect yourself and your loved ones.  Health and safety continue to be our company’s top priority and we will be diligent and disciplined in doing our part to flatten the pandemic curve and limit the spread of the virus.
